PixelFix

AI image generators are great for inspiration, but the output is never quite right for pixel art. Zoom in on any AI-generated sprite and you'll see it immediately. Blurry pixel edges, colors bleeding into each other, anti-aliasing where there shouldn't be any. It looks fine as a thumbnail and falls apart the moment you try to actually use it.

PixelFix fixes that. It snaps everything onto a clean pixel grid, merges colors that should be identical, and sharpens up edges so the result looks like it was made intentionally and not like it crawled out of a diffusion model.

You also get palette locking (PICO-8, Game Boy, and more), resizing that respects the grid, and sprite sheet export, all in one place.

Personally, my workflow starts with an AI model trained on pixel art. But even the good ones leave compression artifacts and color noise when you zoom in. PixelFix is the cleanup step I was doing manually.
